On 12/12/18, RainDai 2 in collaboration with Thomas Entrepreneurial Hub, FreshPoint, Southeastern Hospital and Sodexo hosted a USDA GAP training session and aided farmers with USDA certification that will help local them sell their produce to wholesale buyers such as FreshPoint, Foster Caviness, and Cheney Brothers. An estimated $330,000 in sales will infuse Robeson County with this program being established. The goal set by RainDai 2 is estimated at over $1,000,000 sales tracked in year one.
