#2 Project

MG3 hydroponic farming system

MG3 Farms in Robeson County implemented a hydroponic farming system, which provided numerous benefits to both the farmer and the local community. By using this system, the farmer was able to reduce water usage and increase yield while maximizing growing space. Additionally, the hydroponic farm was able to operate year-round, providing a reliable source of fresh produce regardless of weather conditions. The hydroponic system also helped to reduce the farm's environmental impact by eliminating the need for harmful pesticides and herbicides, reducing runoff, and minimizing soil erosion. As a result, the farmer was able to produce a consistent supply of fresh produce for the local community, which helped to improve food security and reduce food waste.
