On 12/12/18, RainDai 2 in collaboration with Thomas Entrepreneurial Hub, FreshPoint, Southeastern Hospital and Sodexo hosted a USDA GAP training session and aided farmers with USDA certification that will help local them sell their produce to wholesale buyers such as FreshPoint, Foster Caviness, and Cheney Brothers. An estimated $330,000 in sales will infuse Robeson County with this program being established. The goal set by RainDai 2 is estimated at over $1,000,000 sales tracked in year one.

By Utilizing Solar Energy, The School Was Able To Reduce Energy Costs And Promote Sustainable Energy Practices, Helping To Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions And Protect The Environment. The Educational Solar Package Also Provided A Unique Opportunity For Students To Learn About Renewable Resources And Promote Environmental Education. Additionally, The School Served As A Model For The Community, Inspiring Others To Consider Renewable Energy Solutions. As A Result, The Installation Of The Solar Energy System Was A Successful Project, Providing Long-Term Cost Savings And Environmental Benefits For The School And The Community.

As A Result, The Farmer Was Able To Produce A Consistent Supply Of Fresh Produce For The Local Community, Which Helped To Improve Food Security And Reduce Food Waste.
